Sheree's Personal Statement:

"Gestalt Therapy is an alternative to traditional counseling offering a holistic approach to healing and growth. During your sessions, I teach you how to embrace all of the human qualities that make you so unique. In an atmosphere of acceptance and non-judgment, you are encouraged to use your sensations, beliefs, fears, hopes, memories and emotions to deepen your understanding of your true nature. Together, we will identify the beliefs and behaviors needed to create powerful changes in your inner and outer worlds. Self-awareness and non-judgment will empower you to live a life full of peace and contentment.

My professional training is extensive - spanning well over a quarter of a century; thus, I have a wide knowledge base and have developed expertise in many areas of the human experiences.  I  often integrate alternative therapies including somatic (body) therapy, meditation, and art. My associates specialize in other alternative healing modalities such as acupuncture, hypnotherapy, massage, reiki and reflexology.  A multi-faceted combination of healing approaches will offer you the best opportunity to obtain powerful and lasting changes in your body, mind and spirit.

I have created an atmosphere of safety here.  You are regarded as an equal in this process of healing.  I accept whatever unique variables you have chosen to distinguish yourself as Human and Divine and without judgment or discrimination.

My associates and I believe that you are your own best therapist and healer. We teach you the skills required to stay "present". By becoming the ultimate Observer, you learn to witness your own attitudes, behaviors and reactions. These observations serve to deepen your awareness. Awareness, then, gives us the power to transform."
