Individual Therapy
When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you.
Gestalt Therapists view the individual as a unique composite of his/her environment, his/her past, his/her biology and genetics, his/her psychology, his culture, his/her relationships, his/her physical makeup, his/her spiritual ideology, his/her sexuality and every other subset that is attached to those structures. The person is such an integral and integrated part of a larger system that the definition of "reality" will always be unique. No two people will ever share the exact same perspective of an experience. In addition, the individual's state of existence is seen as constantly shifting, changing and adapting.
Each therapy session is characterized by its own unique flow and structure. The relationship between the therapist and the client serves as the vehicle for transformation. Transformation is a mutual experience shared by both therapist and client.
