Holistic Therapy for Mind, Body and Soul
The Gestalt Individual, Couples and Small Systems Trainings are 9 month programs designed for social service and mental health professionals. However, Level One is appropriate for anyone who desires a basic grounding in the Gestalt Therapy Theory, Principles and Techniques. Level Two is for the practitioner that desires to advance his or her assessment, communication, and observation skills and obtain a thorough knowledge of Gestalt Therapy.
The Advanced Practitioner's Training is for those who wish to continue to develop skills that will allow them to eventually train others. Instruction is both didactic and experiential, and is provided in a supportive yet challenging atmosphere within a rich and intimate group experience.
Each level includes a minimum of 10 contact hours per month in Group learning and 4 hours per month for practicum. Your practicum experience is a supervised learning experience in which you are practicing with a volunteer client.
